Ducharme Covered Bridge, Laviolette County, Quebec
The Ducharme Bridge is a lattice truss covered bridge crossing the Bostonnais River in La Bostonnais, Quebec, built in 1946 and measuring 137 feet in length. It was classified as a historic monument in 2006 as a late example of an elaborated town bridge truss type developed by Quebec's Department of Colonization. The bridge was named after Romulus Ducharme, MLA of Laviolette from 1936–1939 and 1944–1966.
