du Faubourg Covered Bridge, Chicoutimi County, Quebec
Built in 1929 across the St-Jean River in Anse St-Jean Township, Chicoutimi County, QC at a cost of 2,069 Canadian dollars. The bridge was featured on the reverse of the 1954 series $1,000 Canadian banknote. In 1986 it was swept away by an ice jam but was subsequently repaired and restored to its original location.
