Balthazar Covered Bridge, Brome County, Quebec
The Balthazar bridge is an 88-foot covered bridge built in 1932 over the Yamaska River in Brigham, Quebec, partly to provide employment during the Depression. It was named after local farmer Gustave Balthazard, who used it in winter to store farm equipment and shelter sheep.
