West Montrose or Kissing Covered Bridge, Waterloo County, Ontario

The West Montrose Covered Bridge, also known as the Kissing Bridge, is a two-span hybrid Howe truss structure built in 1881 by John and Benjamin Bear to span the Grand River in West Montrose, Ontario. It is the only remaining historic covered bridge in Ontario and has undergone multiple restorations since its construction to extend its useful life beyond the original estimated 70–80 years.
