Elder's Mill or Rose Creek Covered Bridge, Oconee County, Georgia

Elder's Mill Covered Bridge is a 99-foot Town lattice truss structure built in 1897 by Nathaniel Richardson, originally constructed to span Call Creek in Clarke County and relocated to Rose Creek in Oconee County in 1924. The bridge features a distinctive web of planks crisscrossing at 45 to 60-degree angles, fastened with wooden pegs or trunnels, and rests on two concrete piers.
