Hurricane Shoals Covered Bridge, Jackson County, Georgia

The Hurricane Shoals Covered Bridge spans 127 feet over the North Oconee River in Jackson County, Georgia. Ordered built in 1869 and constructed in 1872, the bridge was destroyed by arson on May 31, 1972, and subsequently rebuilt in 2022 with county grant funding.
