Stickleback Covered Bridge, Kendall County, Illinois
The Stickleback Bridge is located northeast of Millington in Fox Township, Kendall County, Illinois, crossing Stickleback Creek. It is a private bridge accessed via Bridge Street (becomes Millington Road) north 0.6 miles from the junction with Vine Street in Millington, then northeast on Finnie Road 1.0 miles to the east side of the road at address 9200. The bridge was built by owner Bill Davis using lumber salvaged from area barns.
