Leota Covered Bridge, Scott County, Indiana
The Leota Covered Bridge was built in 1995 over Cooney Creek on the west side of Scott County by L.L. Brown Construction Co. Inc., making it the first covered bridge constructed in Indiana since 1923. The bridge is located at the historic intersection of two 18th-century trails: the Cincinnati Trace and the Bloomington Trail.
