Houck Covered Bridge, Putnam County, Indiana

The Houck Covered Bridge is a Howe through-truss structure built in 1880 over Big Walnut Creek in Putnam County, Indiana. It was constructed by the Massillon Bridge Company and takes its name from the Houck family, owners of the surrounding land. The bridge was by-passed in 2012 and is now maintained as a pedestrian crossing.
