Rolling Stone Covered Bridge, Putnam County, Indiana
The Rolling Stone Covered Bridge is a single-span Burr arch truss bridge built in 1915 by Joseph Albert Britton over Big Walnut Creek in Putnam County, Indiana. The bridge is 104 feet long with a 10-foot overhang at each end, 16 feet wide, and features concrete abutments with vertical plank siding and a metal roof. The bridge takes its name from a large boulder historically present in the creek that has since been removed.
