Sim Smith Covered Bridge, Parke County, Indiana
The Sim Smith Covered Bridge is a single-span Burr Truss structure built in 1883 by Joseph A. Britton, located east of Montezuma in Parke County, Indiana, crossing Leatherwood Creek. The timber bridge measures 101 feet long, 16 feet wide, and 14 feet high. It was preserved during US Route 36 surveying in the 1920s when the highway was rerouted.
