Phillips Covered Bridge, Parke County, Indiana
The Phillips Covered Bridge is a single-span King Post wooden structure located southeast of Montezuma, Indiana, crossing Rocky Run (also known as Big Pond Creek). Built in 1909 by Joseph A. Britton, it is distinguished from other Parke County covered bridges by its simple King Post design without arches. The west downstream truss has been reinforced with an iron beam and the bridge remains in use.
