Roseman or Oak Grove Covered Bridge, Madison County, Iowa
The Roseman Covered Bridge was built in 1883 over the Middle River in Madison County, Iowa, using a Town Lattice truss design with characteristic flat roof by Harvey P. Jones and George K. Foster at a cost of $2,930. The bridge was renovated in 1992 and is prominently featured in The Bridges of Madison County novel and film adaptation.
