Cabin Creek or Mackey- Hughes Farms Covered Bridge, Lewis County, Kentucky
Cabin Creek Covered Bridge is a single-span wooden covered bridge crossing Cabin Creek on the northwestern edge of Lewis County, Kentucky, near Kentucky Highway 984. Built in 1873 using a Burr truss design with a 114-foot span, the bridge features distinctive open sections rather than full enclosure. After closure to vehicular traffic in 1983, it underwent a comprehensive restoration at a cost of $1.2 million and was reopened in May 2014.
