Lovejoy Covered Bridge, Oxford County, Maine

The Lovejoy Bridge is a historic covered bridge built in 1868 in South Andover, Oxford County, Maine, spanning the Ellis River. It features a Paddleford truss design and measures 70 feet in length, making it Maine's shortest covered bridge. The bridge is named after the Lovejoy house, which was located on the eastern side of the river. It was reinforced in 1984 to carry local traffic.
