The H. Deets Warfield Covered Bridge was built in 1966 by H. Deets Warfield on a private farm in Damascus, Maryland. It spans a pond and departs from 19th century tradition with steel supports and tiny glass windowpanes, having been inspired by Hubert P. Burdette's work in Howard County.
