Ackley or Greenfield Covered Bridge, Wayne County, Michigan

Built in 1832 by Joshua Ackley and Daniel Clouse, the Ackley Covered Bridge originally spanned the Enlow Fork of Wheeling Creek in southwestern Pennsylvania. In 1937, Henry Ford rescued the bridge from demolition and relocated it to Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan, where it underwent major restoration in 2000.
