The Pointe Covered Bridge, Monroe County, Wisconsin
The Pointe is a covered bridge located in Evans-Bosshard Park in Sparta, Wisconsin, spanning Beaver Creek at its junction with the La Crosse River. The bridge was constructed to replace a narrower foot bridge and was designed to support snowmobile trail grooming equipment. The name derives from a historic swimming hole at the creek junction.
