Mud River or Milton or Sink's Mill Covered Bridge, Cabell County, West Virginia
The Mud River Covered Bridge is a single-span, modified Howe truss structure with central arch support built in 1875 over the Mud River at Milton, Cabell County, West Virginia. The bridge design was developed by engineer William Howe in 1840. It became a principal crossing for commerce as Cabell County expanded following the arrival of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway. The bridge was rebuilt in 2002.
