Battleground Covered Bridge, Washington County, Vermont
The Battleground Covered Bridge is a modern structure built in 1974 as a 51-foot single span over Mill Brook in Fayston, Washington County, Vermont. Despite its authentic appearance, it is a steel and concrete bridge with a cover rather than a traditional timber covered bridge, and includes a covered pedestrian walkway alongside the vehicular roadway.
