Braley Covered Bridge, Orange County, Vermont
The Braley Covered Bridge is a single-span multiple kingpost structure built in 1904 in Randolph, Vermont, crossing the Second Branch of the White River. Originally constructed as an uncovered bridge, it was covered in 1909. The bridge is 39 feet long and 17 feet wide, and is notable for having kingpost trusses that reach only half the height of the side walls, a rare characteristic shared with only one other Vermont covered bridge.
