Mill or Hayward Covered Bridge, Orange County, Vermont

The Mill Covered Bridge is a 2000 replica of an 1883 covered bridge that carried Spring Road across the First Branch White River in Tunbridge, Vermont. The original structure, built by local carpenter Arthur G. Adams, was destroyed by ice floes in March 1999 and subsequently rebuilt in April/May 2000 on the same site with multiple kingpost trusses and wrought iron reinforcement.
