Cilley or Lower Covered Bridge, Orange County, Vermont

The Cilley Covered Bridge, built in 1883 by Arthur C. Adams, is a Multiple Kingpost Truss bridge crossing the First Branch of the White River at Howe Lane in Tunbridge, Orange County, Vermont. The bridge was destroyed by a flood and fire in 1999 and completely rebuilt in 2009 using fresh lumber while maintaining the exact original design. It is one of five covered bridges remaining in Tunbridge and part of a concentrated group of six bridges spanning about seven miles.
