Longley or Harnois or Head Covered Bridge, Franklin County, Vermont

The Longley Covered Bridge, also known as the Harnois Covered Bridge, is a single-span Town lattice truss bridge built in 1863 by brothers Sheldon and Savannah Jewett to cross the Trout River in Montgomery, Vermont. The bridge measures 84.5 feet long and 19.5 feet wide, with a wooden deck and standing seam metal roof. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, the bridge was closed and bypassed in 2012 due to structural deformation and was subsequently rebuilt in 2017.
