Landis Mill Covered Bridge, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania

The Landis Mill Covered Bridge, built in 1873 by Elias McMellen, spans the Little Conestoga Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. At 53 feet long, it is the shortest covered bridge in the county and uniquely employs a multiple kingpost truss design with pyramidal-shaped trusses rather than Burr arches. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
