Knoebels Grove Covered Bridge, Columbia County, Pennsylvania
Knoebels Grove Covered Bridge is a modern covered bridge built in 1975 within the grounds of Knoebels Amusement Resort in Columbia County/Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, constructed from salvaged beams from the Berninger Grist Mill (1865). The project was conceived by Dick Knoebel, inspired by his great-grandfather's preservation efforts. The bridge is a rare Phoenix Column truss design that was relocated and reused for a train ride within the park.
