Kauffman Covered Bridge, Chester County, Pennsylvania
The Kauffman's Distillery Covered Bridge (also known as Sporting Hill Bridge or Big Chiques #1 Bridge) spans Chiques Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The bridge is county-owned and maintained. It is named after a whiskey distillery operated by the Kauffman family, including Jacob S. Kauffman (1794–1849) and Henry M. Kauffman (1821–1894), formerly located at the northern end of Sporting Hill village on the Rapho Township side.
