Linton-Stevens Covered Bridge, Chester County, Pennsylvania

The Linton Stephens Covered Bridge is a Burr truss bridge built in 1886 by J. Denithorn & Son, spanning Big Elk Creek in Elk Township and New London Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The bridge was closed in the mid-1990s but was reopened after reconditioning in 1996. It was subsequently damaged and closed by flooding from Hurricane Ida in September 2021.
