Sandy Creek or Remote Covered Bridge, Coos County, Oregon
Sandy Creek Bridge is a single-span covered bridge with a Howe truss design spanning Sandy Creek near the community of Remote in Coos County, southwestern Oregon. The bridge crosses Sandy Creek near its mouth on the Middle Fork Coquille River and features large side openings. It is the only covered bridge in Coos County and is located on the north side of Highway 42, approximately 31 miles west of Roseburg, with a developed picnic area and park facilities.
