Rinard Covered Bridge, Washington County, Ohio
The Rinard Covered Bridge, built in 1876 near Marietta in Washington County, Ohio, is a Smith truss bridge spanning the Little Muskingum River. Designed by H. H. Townsend and constructed by the Smith Bridge Company of Toledo, the bridge was destroyed by flash flood in 2004 and subsequently rebuilt in 2006.
