Root or Qualey Covered Bridge, Washington County, Ohio
The Root Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge located off State Route 555 in far northern Decatur Township, Washington County, Ohio. Built in 1878 using Long truss construction, it measures 65 feet in a single span and crosses the West Branch of the Little Hocking River. The bridge features vertical high-boarded siding, a metal roof, and cut stone abutments.
