Perrine Covered Bridge, Ulster County, New York

Perrine's Bridge is a Burr arch truss bridge spanning the Wallkill River in Ulster County, New York, named after James Perrine (1801-1860) who operated a hotel and tavern at the site. Built in 1844 by Benjamin Wood, it is the second-oldest covered bridge in New York State and the last remaining Burr arch truss bridge in the state. The bridge was restored in 1993.
