The Swiftwater Covered Bridge was built in 1849 to carry Porter Road over the Wild Ammonoosuc River in Bath, New Hampshire. It is a well-preserved example of Paddleford truss design with laminated arches and steel beam reinforcement, and represents the fourth bridge structure constructed at this location. The bridge was restored in 1989 and 1999.
