The Sawyers Crossing Covered Bridge is a two-span Town truss structure located west of Swanzey's village center, spanning the Ashuelot River in a roughly east-west orientation. It rests on abutments and a central pier made of split granite. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 (NRHP #78000211), the bridge was completely restored in 1996 and remains an important part of Swanzey's local transportation network.
