Langley Covered Bridge, St. Joseph County, Michigan

The Langley Covered Bridge, built in 1877 near Centreville in St. Joseph County, Michigan, is the longest remaining wooden covered bridge in Michigan. Named for Thomas Langley, an early settler, the bridge was raised eight feet in 1910 when the Sturgis Dam was constructed and underwent extensive restoration in 1950-51.
