Ada Covered Bridge, Kent County, Michigan

The Bradfield Bridge, also known as the Ada Bridge, is a 125-foot Brown truss span built in 1867 by William Holmes over the Thornapple River in Ada Township, Kent County, Michigan. The bridge was closed to automobile traffic in 1930 when the main highway was rerouted, and it was completely destroyed by fire and subsequently rebuilt in 1980.
