Salmond Covered Bridge, Windsor County, Vermont

The Salmond Covered Bridge, built in 1875 by James Tasker over Sherman Brook in Windsor County, Vermont, was named after the Salmond family who lived near its original location. The bridge was relocated from near Stoughton Pond due to North Springfield dam construction and moved to its current location in 1986, where it has been preserved through multiple rescue efforts.
