The Lower Cox Brook Covered Bridge is a Queen post truss wooden bridge spanning Cox Brook in Northfield, Vermont, built around 1872. Twin to 45-12-08, it is located within a quarter-mile of two other historic covered bridges near Northfield Falls and measures 56.5 feet long and 18.5 feet wide with a metal roof and red board-and-batten exterior siding. The bridge deck was retrofitted with steel I-beams in the 1960s while the original trusses now support only the superstructure.
