Brown Covered Bridge, Rutland County, Vermont

The Brown Covered Bridge is a single-span Town Lattice Truss structure built in 1880 over the Cold River in northwestern Shrewsbury, Rutland County, Vermont, approximately 5 miles southeast of Rutland. The bridge measures 112 feet in length and rests on stone abutments capped in concrete. It sustained damage during Tropical Storm Irene in 2011.
