Union Village Covered Bridge, Orange County, Vermont

The Union Village Covered Bridge was built in 1867 and crosses the Ompompanoosuc River in Union Village, Thetford, Orange County, Vermont. With a timber truss length of 113 feet, it is the longest multiple kingpost truss span surviving in Vermont. The bridge exemplifies 19th-century timber bridge engineering and remains a significant historic resource.
