Guiford Covered Bridge, Orange County, Vermont

The Gifford Covered Bridge crosses the Second Branch of the White River in Randolph, Vermont and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. It is a single-span King post truss structure, 51.5 feet long with a 17-foot total width, notable for having an unusually shallow king-post truss that reaches only half the bridge height, suggesting it was originally built as an uncovered structure and later covered circa 1904.
