Gold Brook Covered Bridge is a single-span Howe truss bridge built in 1844 by John W. Smith, carrying Covered Bridge Road over Gold Brook in Stowe, Lamoille County, Vermont. It is Vermont's only surviving 19th-century covered bridge constructed with wooden Howe trusses on a public roadway, and an early example of the Howe truss type, which was patented in 1840. The bridge measures 48.5 feet long and 17 feet wide, with a gabled metal roof and vertical board siding exterior.
