Shelburne Museum Covered Bridge, Chittenden County, Vermont

Built in 1845, the Museum Covered Bridge originally spanned the Lamoille River in Cambridge, Vermont, and measured 168 feet in length with two vehicle lanes and an attached footpath. It was dismantled in 1949 and relocated to the Shelburne Museum grounds, where it served as the museum's entrance until automobile traffic required its retirement from active use.
