East Shoreham Railroad Covered Bridge, Addison County, Vermont

The East Shoreham Covered Railroad Bridge, built in 1897 by the Rutland Railroad Company, spans the Lemon Fair River near East Shoreham, Vermont. It is the state's only surviving example of a wooden Howe truss railroad bridge and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The bridge closed to railroad traffic in 1951 and was rebuilt in 1982.
