Dummerston Covered Bridge, Windham County, Vermont

The West Dummerston Covered Bridge is a two-span Town lattice truss bridge built in 1872 by Caleb Lamson, spanning the West River in Dummerston, Vermont. At 280 feet, it is the longest covered bridge entirely within the state of Vermont. The bridge features diamond-shaped openings in its side walls and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It was completely restored in 1998.
