Lincoln Covered Bridge, Windsor County, Vermont

The Lincoln Covered Bridge, built in 1865 by R.W. and B.H. Pinney, is a 136-foot wooden span over the Ottauquechee River in West Woodstock, Windsor County, Vermont. It is structurally unique as the only known surviving wooden example of a Pratt arch truss design, featuring a laminated wooden arch with suspended deck supported by crossed steel rods. The bridge was renovated in 1947 and 1989.
