Gilkey Covered Bridge, Linn County, Oregon
Gilkey Bridge is a 120-foot Howe truss covered bridge in Linn County, Oregon, carrying Goar Road over Thomas Creek near Scio. Built in 1939, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The bridge was severely damaged by an overloaded vehicle in 1997 but was subsequently restored and reopened.
