Mosby Creek Covered Bridge, Lane County, Oregon
The Mosby Creek Bridge (also called Layng Bridge) is a historic Howe truss covered bridge built in 1920 near Cottage Grove, Oregon. At 90 feet long, it is the oldest covered bridge in Lane County and remains in active service with regular maintenance by Lane County crews. The bridge features modifications to the basic Howe design including spliced chords and steel rod cross-braces on the upper chords.
