Cavitt Creek Covered Bridge, Douglas County, Oregon
Cavitt Creek Covered Bridge crosses Little River at the junction with Cavitt Creek in Douglas County, Oregon. Built by noted Douglas County builder Floyd Frear, the bridge features Tudor arch portals and uses raw logs in its upper and lower chords to accommodate heavy log truck usage. The area was settled in the early 1880s and named for Robert Cavitt, who settled on a tributary of Little River.
