Newfield Covered Bridge, Tompkins County, New York

Newfield Bridge is a single-span covered bridge built in 1853 by Benjamin Starr, Samuel Hamm & Sons, David Dassance, and Patchen Parsons, crossing the West Branch of Cayuga Creek in Tompkins County, New York. The bridge features a Town truss with an added laminated arch and is notable as one of the oldest covered bridges in New York State that continues to carry motor vehicle traffic. It was restored in 1972.
